I am currently here in Melbourne, Australia, doing an 8-week training on early childhood development on the play-based and project based approach, attending professional development trainings at Lady Gowrie Child Development Center and having Kathy Walker for consultant. The purpose of my training is to use the play based approach in the pre-schools that our organization intends to initiate in the communities we are helping. We already provided mini-libraries in 5 of our communities and we intend to use these facilities for pre-school that will cater to our under-priviledged families.
